APIMA Post-Conference Factory Tour: Benchmarking High Localization in the Hanoi–Bac Ninh–Hai Phong Corridor
Time: December 17 – 19, 2025 (3 Days)
Assembly Point: Hanoi National Convention Center, Vietnam
Theme: Deep Dive into Supply Chain Localization and Japanese Tier 1 Management Systems under the Incentives of Decree 205.
I. Background
With the official enactment of Vietnam's Decree 205/2025/ND-CP in September 2025, the government has imposed higher localization procurement requirements for the Supporting Industries (SIs). A critical challenge facing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises is how to ensure supply chain stability and quality while complying with these stringent new standards.
This tour will lead APIMA member enterprises deep into the Hanoi–Bac Ninh–Hai Phong Golden Industrial Corridor to conduct an on-site visit to a Japanese Tier 1 automotive electronics supplier. Having achieved a local sourcing ratio exceeding 65% and successfully obtained the "Priority Supporting Industrial Products" certification from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), this enterprise serves as a prime example of balancing compliance with profitability.
