2026 Global Top 50 Construction Machinery Manufacturers Released; Chinese Enterprises Emerge as Key Growth Drivers
On the 6th, the 2026 Global Top 50 Construction Machinery Manufacturers list, jointly released by CCM Media and the Global Construction Machinery Top 50 Summit, showed that Chinese enterprises delivered outstanding performances, making China the country with the highest number of listed companies. Over the past year, the Global Top 50 construction machinery manufacturers achieved steady growth. Data shows that the total sales of the Top 50 enterprises this year reached $234.808 billion, an increase of $12.28 billion from $222.528 billion in the previous edition, representing a growth rate of 5.52%. This, to some extent, demonstrates that the global construction machinery industry is recovering and trending upward, driven by the dual forces of warming demand and technological upgrading.
It is worth noting that Chinese enterprises listed played the role of "main force" in this round of growth. In this edition of the list, a total of 13 Chinese enterprises made it into the Top 50, with a total sales volume of $48.847 billion, accounting for 20.80% of the total sales of the Top 50. The sales volume by country once again surpassed that of Japan, rising to second place. In recent years, Chinese construction machinery enterprises have consistently adhered to the innovation-driven development strategy. With continuously enhanced technological strength, they have achieved "marching triumphantly" in overseas exports. On one hand, Chinese enterprises have made continuous breakthroughs in high-end, intelligent, and green development, and the technical level of their products is gradually aligning with international first-class standards; on the other hand, by improving global service networks and promoting localized operations, the international recognition and overseas market share of Chinese construction machinery products and brands have steadily increased.
