Circular Economy & Carbon Footprint Tracking | Smart Factory Energy Optimization | ESG Compliance for South Asian Manufacturing

Expert Profile:

Dr. Priya Sharma is a leading authority on sustainable manufacturing and green industrial policy in South Asia. As a Senior Expert in the APIMA Industry Expert Pool and Special Advisor on Sustainable Manufacturing, she focuses on addressing the challenges of carbon-neutral transition and resource efficiency bottlenecks faced by emerging economies during industrialization.

Dr. Sharma brings over 18 years of experience in international think tanks and industry consulting. She graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and earned her PhD from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She previously led the World Bank’s "Green Textile Revitalization Plan" in South Asia. Her research centers on identifying the "equilibrium point between low-carbon technology and economic benefits." By introducing digital energy efficiency management systems, she helped over 30 high-energy-consuming enterprises achieve a remarkable 15% reduction in annual carbon emissions.

Dr. Priya Sharma is recognized by the industry as the "Navigator of South Asia's Green Industry," a testament to her resilient leadership and pragmatic policy recommendations.
